VIN P.O.V
I stood at the entrance hall silently, waiting for some dumb, stuck up princesses to enter. I stared out of the window. It was a bright and sunny morning, the sky was clear, the birds were singing. It would've been the perfect day if Zero was here. I heard the hoof steps of horses outside, breaking me out of my trance. I straightened up and heard the large door creak open. Three princesses walked , one with black, wavy hair that went down to her waist, a blonde that had her hair braided into a bun and lastly a girl that had red hair that flowed freely and bounced whenever she walked. My father let them in. "Vin, this is princess Eleanor, princess Analisha and princess Merlina." He introduced, each of the princesses bowing before me. I might as well act the part. I bowed back, getting exited giggles from the girls. "Can we see the palace?" Analisha the blonde haired girl asked. I faked a smile. "Sure, uh right this way" I lead them to the hallway of my room, where there was a balcony that could let you see beyond the mountain. It reminded me of Zero too much. I needed a minuet. "Ok, I need to go prepare something for later" I lied, then I ran off.
NOBODY'S P.O.V
After vin ran down the hall, Merlina had an idea. "Hey, how about we go look in the princes bedroom?" She whispered to her friends. Eleanor huffed, her black hair drooping a bit. "Bad idea, well never be with the prince if we sneak in!" She explained obviously. Merlina got onto her knees."Please, besides. When will we get another chance like this?" She begged, getting a defeated glance from her friend. "Fine, but only for a couple of minuets." She sighed, and the girls all ran to his room. They forced the door open only to find it full of pictures, writing and mementoes. "Woah, what is all of this?" Asked Adriana. Merlina walked over to a group of pictures. It had a picture of the prince and a goth-like girl that had white hair and blue eyes at a festival. She turned over the picture and read the handwriting. "To my best friend, Vin." Merlina read out loud. "Hey, anybody got any idea who this is?" Merlina asked. Adriana observed the picture. "No, not really. But she seems familiar." She replied. Meanwhile, Eleanor was looking around the cupboard when she saw a hidden button. Curious, she pressed it causing the wall to move, revealing coffin-like chamber with a girl inside. Merlina stared in horror, why would the prince keep something like this hidden? Adriana gasped. "I know who that is! It's Zero the human mermaid!"
